This ‘Train the Trainer’ CPD event is of immense value to trainers who are looking at delivering the HABC Level 1 and Level 2 Fire Safety Qualifications*. It is also beneficial to trainers who already deliver fire safety qualifications.
The course content supports both Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications and includes:
- Fire safety standards
- Fire risk assessment
- Understanding the nature of fires in the workplace
- Protecting people and property
- The role of the Fire Warden
The Trainer: Martin Wordsworth:
Martin served as the Training Centre Manager for the South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and has also lectured in Management Studies and Health and Safety at Dearne Valley College. Martin has been involved in training health and safety subjects for over 10 years and has written numerous well-known health and safety training materials.
An HABC CPD certificate will be presented to all candidates who attend the event.
*Please note, attendance on the CPD events does not automatically approve trainers to deliver the qualifications. Minimum criteria as stated in the qualification specification must still be met.
